Woohoo at last :goodvibes

Hey everyone, long time no see :thumbsup2 Looks like we are going to go back around May 2012. As well as me and junior, there will be my partner and kid, and her brother and his 2 kids so 7 of us in total. I can't wait!!!

The 5 of them have never been (my partner's brother has never even been out of the country lol) so it has been great filling their heads with all the exciting things ahead. I'm starting to think they are more excited than me, which is hard to believe!! :lmao:

I've had a look around to get a general idea of prices, using May 2011 dates as a guide. Probably the best package I have found so far is with Monarch Holidays, flying Manchester-Sanford and staying for 2 weeks at the Cypress Pointe LBV in 2x2 bedroom apartments, with 2 week hire of an 8 seater mini-van. This came in at £5,000, minus 5% cashback that I will get through my employers benefits website. That's pretty good, eh?

I can also get good discounts/cashback through some airlines and websites like hotels.com, so nearer the time I might do a bit more comparing but I doubt I will get it much cheaper than that (if I even get it that cheap for a 2012 booking). I just wish we could book it right now!

Anyone ever stayed at Cypress Pointe? It gets pretty good reviews wherever I've looked, and the location is ideal :thumbsup2

Hey Wayne, nice to speak with you again! I'll definitely be leaning on you at some point for some kind of advice no doubt, you are thee Mr Knowledgable for all the UK posters imo :thumbsup2

Just a shame it's such a long time away, but my partners' (Chell, for future reference ;) ) brother needs the time to save. Just means all the more time for planning, which is almost as enjoyable as the holiday itself

Thanks cher, it was hard work doing that trippie but well worth it as something to look back on :goodvibes I reckon I will be doing that more and more as the weeks and months go by :thumbsup2
