Planning an October and December trip with questions

I am planning a trip in October and December not sure of the dates yet but want to know if there are things during these different holidays that are a must for us. It will me me, DH, DS4 and DS2. We are normally there every year for the week of presidents day and this year we got AP so the holidays are new to us. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Do a Halloween Party on a Tuesday night. Include a Sunday or Satuday and you can see two different Fireworks shows. The week of the 22-28 is the sweet spot in October.

In December the earlier the better for crowds.

During Xmas and Halloween, Haunted Mansion transform into Haunted Mansion Holiday with a Nightmare Before Xmas theme. My kids prefer it to the regular version.

Big Thunder Ranch has pumpkin carving during Halloween and Santa and his Reindeer (yes real reindeer) for Xmas.

Small World has a Christmas Overlay.

Halloween parties are two nights a week in October with special Halloween fireworks and parade, plus trick or treating and special character meets.

Christmas has special fireworks and parades daily, snow, Christmas cookie decorating....

I'd suggest you check out the pictures and info in the Halloween and Christmas threads. Theres a lot of great info.
