Planning ahead for DHS

The frozen sing a long is so awful unless your 6 so I would say skip that and fantastic to me is a must do if you don't go every year.

I think FSA is occasionally OK. DS9 loved it, but he is a big Frozen fan and loves the music. Me and DH, not so much. However, I was very impressed with his singing and even got a little misty. It was ok once, kind of cute and funny.

I like to plan in advance when it comes to Disney. We won't be going until March of next year (or possibly even later). What is expected to even still be running at DHS by then? We are into the shows, but like the rides, character meets, etc. Anyone have any idea what will be going on there by spring? Things we usually enjoy are: Muppets, Star Tours, TSMM, ToT (depending on kids' moods), Indiana Jones, Lights Motors Action, Fantasmic!, Magic of Disney Animation (which is closing soon, right). We typically do a full day at this park and are thinking half day now.

Your list would be more than a half day for us.

Of animation is open when you come and especially since it is closing, It could take a could 30 minute cycles just to get in having you at that attraction for 90 minutes or more. (I thought it was closing this July, though. Maybe I missed that it is next summer?) If it is still open, I would do DHS as a full day but with midday break. Do Animation academy in the morning, the rides. Resort for break. Return for shows and Fantasmic.

My family enjoys the Frozen sing along. If you have not been, I would try and catch it.

For Fastpasses, I would definitely FP TSMM, Star tours, and TOT.

Are you skipping RNR? If not, I would catch that at Rope drop.

Yeah, RNR is out--my kids are young and not brave enough, but we can coerce them to do ToT sometimes ;-)

For the Frozen sing a long - does the fastpass just get you in or get you into a better section? When do you need to show up if you have a fastpass?

So funny, because I feel the exact opposite! Booked F! Package, but could not sit through it, and find the gleeful kids to be,charming!

with a fp you don't have to make the standby line but you don't get a separate area to sit. The Hyperion Theater is great though not a bad seat in the house, just don't sit towards the bottom, try and get something middle or up
