When planning your trip, do you usually book an ADR (or 2) for each day you are there? On our last trip I only booked two...a breakfast one day and dinner another night. I tend to kind of wing it when it comes to eating because I often don't end up sticking to my orginal itinerary and I worry about having to plan which park we will be at based on where we have ADR's scheduled.

What do you all do?

You may want to book one ADR for each day that you're there. That's what we do. The restaurants are so busy now because of the Disney Dining Plan, if you don't have a reservation you may not be able to get into any of the TS restaurants. Don't wait until you get there, many of the popular restaurants will not have the availability when you need it! Have fun planning!

We have a dinner ADR for each night we're there. We just make that park our afternoon park that day.

We did that before the dining plan, now it's almost a must. Though last week while there on business I did manage to get a 7:40 seating at the San Angel Inn the night before we were going to eat there.

We book one for every night. The DP has really filled up the more popular restaurants quickly. I called the first day I could for my trip in November, and even booking 10 days out, still didn't get choice - or even convenient - times for a couple of restaurants. Talk about a shock . . . first choice of time for Cindy's, but 3:15 for Sci-Fi! :lmao:

Making plans ahead of time will save you alot of waiting time later.
When were there a few weeks ago, we showed up for our 5:45pm dinner ADR @ The Hollywood & Vine (Fantasmic Dinner Package), there was this older gentlemen that left in a huff and seem very upset. He didn't have an ADR made and the wait was almost an hour long. He thought that if he stayed "on property" at a Disney Resort, he would be able to walk into any resturant......sadly he learned the hard way.

I had made our ADRs months before our trip, one TS each day. Two would be too much food to really enjoy. Once you have your ADRs, your not bound to them (except the ones that you have to hold with a credit card - they charge for a 'no shows'). One night we had an ADR for Spoodles on the boardwalk. That afternoon, my son wasn't feeling too well. Too many late nights in a row and too much sun contributed to his illness. We decided to change our ADR for a later time and closer, with in our resort...The Capy May @ the Beach Club.

So, in conclusion....have most of your ADRs planned before you go and change them if you need while you're there.

;)

I usually plan one/day AFTER I have decided what park/what day.
