Looking for some input! Family of 4, our 3rd family trip to WDW, 7 nights at the Poly on the DDP. My sister and her boyfriend will be there for 5 nights as well, not sure where they are staying yet. They will likely join us for some of these meals - not sure yet. My sister is currently overseas for a few weeks for her MBA program. She'll return this week and we'll be meeting to discuss the trip. Our ADR date is 9/27.

So far I have this (all for dinner) :
Sat (3/26)- arrival day, no parks - dinner at Chef Mickeys

Sunday (3/27) - possibly Mama Melrose F! package

Monday (3/28) - Ohana

Tuesday (3/29) - Biergarten

Wednesday (3/30) - Wolfgang Puck Cafe

Thursday (3/31) - Crystal Palace

Friday (4/1) - Le Cellier

Some of these may be moved around depending on which ones sis wants to go to (they leave on Thurs) - for example switching Ohana and CP, etc. Non-negotiables for me are: CM's, Ohana, WPC, CP and Le Cellier. LeC will be 2 TS when we go - we plan to pay OOP for this using Disney Rewards from the Visa we just signed up for! So that still leaves us with 1 TS credit each.

Options I'm considering - dropping Mama Melrose F! pkg and doing Hoop De Do. Not sure how bad F! will be then, we still haven't seen it. Or we can add a CP breakfast one morning. Or DD and I can do CRT lunch just the two of us. Any thoughts? Biegarten is new for us - sounds good, but not sure?

Since you are staying right at the Poly i'd definitely suggest eating a meal at Kona Cafe'. The food there is really so good not to miss. I've had lunch there and i'm having breakfast there this upcomming Nov. trip. But i've heard all meals there are good.

I won't try to change your mind about WPC except to mention that we ate there in 2009 and loved it but were less that impressed by our meal last month.

First off they have changed their menu which included removing my favourite entree (the ribs).

Second my carrot cake which was the best dessert I had on my trip in 2009 was a big disappointment this time. Tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for a few days.

Finally, the waitress brought the dessert menus around half way through our entrees saying "she didn't want to rush us but here were the menus for when we were ready". IMHO, this is rushing us.

Thank you!

Thanks, we've actually been there twice. First time was excellent, last time was....eh, barely OK. Terrible service, just OK food. We're going to probably skip it this time, but it may be a back up if we can't get something else we want.

Ack, that's not good news. We've been here twice as well - last time in 2009. I'll have to hope that it was just fluke for you - those pumpkin ravioli are to die for!!

Well, we discussed Disney over dinner. My fam is pretty much on board with the choices. DD DOES want to do a CRT lunch (we did it last time and she loved it, but I wasn't sure if she would be too old this time, she'll be barely 7. But she definitely wants to) - so that will be our extra credits.

My main debate right now is to keep or drop Mama Melrose F! Package. Food sounds good to me. DH is not thrilled about restaurant Italian (he just loves mine which I guess is good! Oh, and my Mom's, which is basically the same). DHS is not our favorite park. We're just planning an evening there - basically do TSM and Fantasmic probably, maybe a couple other things. We could do a TS pretty much anywhere and then go over to DHS for the evening. Hmmm.... I just don't want to have to get seats for F! 2 hours in advance. Not sure what to do.
