I'm planning a trip for my family (2 adults, 1 child - 8) the week of President's Day 2022 - February 20-26. I wanted to know if anyone had any tips, do's, or don'ts for how to plan a week with the park reservations. I know there's still plenty of time, but no point in waiting, right?
Here's what I came up with:
Sunday 2/20 (fly in) Epcot
Monday 2/21 (President's Day) Animal Kingdom
Tuesday 2/22 Epcot
Wednesday 2/23 Magic Kingdom
Thursday 2/24 Magic Kingdom
Friday 2/25 Hollywood Studios
Saturday 2/26 (fly out) Hollywood Studios
We went this same week in 2019 and my daughter loved Epcot, so I figured that would be a good park to ease into on the travel day and also have a dedicated day. And I figured that on the holiday it would be best to stay away from MK and HS,
Any tips? I tried to optimize for least-busy days, based on general day-of-week recommendations online. But now I'm having second thoughts about waiting until the end of the week for HS, especially on the day we fly out. If that's our only chance to get on RotR, there's a risk we'd have to leave for the airport before our boarding group.
