Hello from Alaska! I sure hope this is the correct place to post my topic/questions. Our family of four (two children) is planning a trip to Walt Disney World in 2015. We have several dates in mind. I am an elementary school teacher, so just about any time school is out, would be a good time for me. I do understand that, unfortunately, these are usually the busiest days in Disney World.

I have grown up in Alaska and have traveled to both Disneyland and Disney World several times. Because of Alaska's unpredictable and often inclement weather during early spring, Easter parades are non-existent here in the, "Last Frontier." I have always wanted see an Easter parade, and be in a state that has all the beauty of spring. Don't get me wrong, Alaska is one of the most beautiful states; however, our spring consists of messy, wet, dirty break-ups. It just so happens that in 2015, my husband's birthday (April 5) happens to be the same day as Easter. Our family would love to spend two weeks in Florida around that time. Our goal would be to spend Easter (April 5) in the Magic Kingdom. I know it will probably very busy, but we are willing to take that risk. When should we start planning, making reservations, etc. We appreciate your help and input.

I'm planning on going in 2015 also!
I'm already starting to plan now...but I'm a bit of an overplanner
However you can book your resort stay 500 days in advance (I'm going in March, which is about 600 days from today)
You can add packages/plans later on when they become available for April 2015!:hyper:

2014 packages just came out, so figure this time next year for 2015! Good luck planning :thumbsup2

I'm planning a trip for 2015, as well. We're going in June for my newborn daughter's 2nd bday. We went last November for my son's 3rd bday. It's still a bit too early to plan anything, since packages aren't out yet. But you can start looking into which resort you'd like to stay at :)

I'm starting "planning" my 2015 Xmas trip :-) and I thought I was crazy to start this early!!!

Glad to see they are other crazy planners :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Following along :rotfl: We are currently planning our trip for this October/November, but we are planning to head back after this trip around 2015 as well :)

We are actually driving back at this very moment from disney and I am already contemplating our next trip in either dec 2015/jan 2016. I wish it could be even sooner, but my youngest is 15 months and that was just too hard on her .... She will need to be at least 3 before DH is willing to take her again

We're looking at October 2015 - and I am already planning!! ;)
There's so much to coordinate and so many things to do. I couldn't imagine waiting until the last minute (i.e. 6 months out).

Looking to go to Disney March 2015, from past Disney experiences will there be free dining? And is the free dining worth it? Also what is the best non expensive resort. I have a family of 4 youngest being 16.

We just went this past Mardi Gras and we are now planning for 2015! Looking to go early October for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween and EPCOT's Food and Wine Fest:) We've never been for either of these...can't wait!

We just went this past March. The weather was perfect. We've done the dining plan for our past 2 trips and we think it's worth it. The only thing you have to worry about is the tip. We also stayed at POP this past trip and loved it. If you plan on using the bus transportation, this is the place to stay. At other resorts the buses have to make multiple stops/drop-offs, but at POP we were the only one. We also have a family of 4 and we ended up bringing our air-bed for our youngest to sleep on. The POP room had plenty of room for this. The trip we plan on going on in Oct 2015, we plan on staying at Music.

We are planning for August 2015, as I am a teacher, also and this time is the least busy of the summer months. We are looking at POFQ for our stay. I talked to Reservations today and they said the packages should be out by mid-July.

The days will not pass quick enough....about 440 days out.

Hello! I'm also planning for August 2015! I'm so excited to start a countdown but I want to wait until I have the official trip booked and deposit paid. lol

In the meantime, I'm starting a countdown until July 10th- hopefully that is when the dates are released. :) I've also started a vacation binder. I'm about to start working on that right now. It will be more of a general binder since I'm planning on going some other places in 2015. When it gets closer to my trip I'll make a comprehensive mini binder! Yea!!!:hyper:

I found these and thought some of you might like them :)

My Fiance and I are getting married in August 2015; and then taking our very 1st trips ever for our Honeymoon to Disneyworld in October 2015. We have booked our stay (7 days, 6 nights) at the Pop Century. I'm a horrible pre-planner... So I've started to figure out which restaurants we'll need reservations at and which parks are close by so we aren't running like chickens so we aren't late to a reservation.

We will be looking for a Dining plan discount as we opted to get the Deluxe package. Can anyone tell me when this might come out? I'm so excited to go on this trip! Thanks in advance for any info shared.
