Planning a trip for September 2018 during Rosh Hashanah

Will the crowds be crazy at this time? In NY, schools are out for the 4 day weekend. Its the perfect time for us to go as the kids will not have to miss school and my inlaws already gave us their blessing to miss the holiday at home. I am now second guessing, thinking if all schools are out than it must be a busy time. Am I right?

We were there in September 2016 during this time. For a slow time of year the parks were really crowded. Not Christmas time crowded but more crowded than we were used to.
