Well I am in the planning stages of yet another trip.My husband is US Navy and we are both Florida residents.
I am wondering how to go about getting good discounts for rooms and tickets ?
I saw there is a 3 day play pass for Florida residents..How do I get one of these?
And I see there are 59.00 rooms at the All Star resorts...How do I get these rates?
I usually just plan and pay whatever the rates are without researching prices.

Thanks for any advise and help :) We are trying to save a little this trip around so we can bring home more prizes :)

There is a Florida residents section on the disneyworld website. It's in the upper right hand side near the passholder section. Once you enter there, you should find some current room only discounts. Most of October is regular season, so you will not find the $59 rates (that is usually during value season). The best you might do is either $74 or $79 a night for a value resort. As for tickets, don't have a clue about Florida ticket specials. You could look into Florida resident seasonal passes. If you plan to go often this might be the better way to go.

Thanks for the reply ... I'll call around and see what I can get :)
I have always been too into planning the trip and where to stay to shop around and ask for deals..but now we have a 3 yr old to take with us..so we have to be more conservative...so she will have more $$ to spend :)

THANKS again :)
