Having been to Disney over a hundred times, I kinda forgot how it is to be a First Timer. In June, my fiance and his parents are wanting me to take them to Disney so they can be exposed to it before we go in 2008 for our wedding. I'm trying to take things at a slower pace because his father has heart problems, but he refuses to admit to it and likes to overdue himself. We are going for a week. I'm doing my best to avoid heavy crowds in the parks.

I totally forgot about those because I'm not a big fireworks person so when I go I just avoid them. Thanks for reminding me! :cool1:

I like that you're starting with Epcot rather than MK. It will definitely give them the idea that WDW is not just for kids and show them a different side of WDW.

How about some time wandering in the Boardwalk area? It might be a nice break from the parks.

Well, you have vastly more experience than us, but I would suggest the "roll with it" philosophy. That is, try to avoid being caught up in the rush of it all...the crowds and hurried pace can sometimes affect your own well being. If your running a bit late for those dinners, then run a little late. Obviosly a plan is very important, however living by your watch can drive anyone insane...especially if someone wants to see it all and has a heart condition!! :)

You could schedule your ADR at 'Ohana to coincide with the Wishes fireworks in the MK, especially since you're already planning to go there anyway. If you're not staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, you might think about switching a dinner to Boma instead... that hotel is pretty amazing.

I note you're not doing any park hopping, is that your general philosophy when doing WDW, or is that just to make things easier on your trip with the future in-laws? It also looks like you're not spending much time at the MK, considering all the stuff to do there. MK is the most 'Disney' of the parks, so you might want to look at spending more time there?
