I know people have said when they order the dvd they have gotten a pin. so if we want to go beginning of dec. when should I order the dvd so if I do get a pin I can actually use it

I ordered a dvd, and got a pin a week or so after (that isn't good for the time we are going, so it is worthless) Then I got the dvd a week or so after that.
