planned a party (non wedding) at WDW?

Not sure which board to post this on. We are thinking about a family reunion at WDW in 2005. We thought that a private party of some sort would be an excellent cap off to the trip. Anyone planned a private party at WDW (other than a wedding)? Who did you need to contact for info? Any tips? TIA!

Yup!

First you should decide where you want your function...then what type of 'event' you wish to stage.....if for example you'd like to have a private room at a resort....each resort has an office which handles convention services (even smaller groups are handled by them) they can set up things with Disney Dining if your plans call for food/beverage service, set up audio/visual stuff if you need it and even arrange private character appearances/entertainment.

If you want to do something like rent out a space in a park...food of some sort is basically required (even just desserts)....WDW dining can handle those arrangements.
