Anyone ever hear of this computer game? I hadn't until DS saw it advertisded in a gaming magazine. He begged me to go out and get it so this morning I did. Well, it's Christmas and I didn't have the time to read the box and come to find out, you only have a 30 day trial period with this game and then you have to pay monthly fees to continue to play this game!!!! ARGHHHHH!!!! I called Walmart, where I bought it and they said you can't returned opened games. I just kissed $40 goodbye. I did send an e-mail off to Sony, who makes this game, to express my dissatisfaction with their game. I guess I learned a good leasson from this one. Read the box of some of these new computer games...They could run you into alot of money!

For people into gaming it is known that Planetside requires a monthly service. Did you actually open the box? It should have been stated on the box. DS has a friend who has it and he has been begging us for it but we didn't want to get into monthly fees either. I think it can be played standalone also but the draw would be multiplayer.
