It seems to be really hit or miss - I'm afraid! :guilty:

We went in 2004 and had a so-so meal - I had a burger and that was fine, DH took something a bit fancier and didn't enjoy it at all.

DBIL and his family had gone just a few days before us and they loved it!

Kids like the noisy, busy atmosphere and there's plenty to look at - I'd say just to go and see what happens! :thumbsup2

We went and it was okay although not what I imagined. The food was not too bad but I did find the tables close together. I am sure you will enjoy it.

We thought the food was no better than average but most people aren't going for the food! There is definately plenty to see inside but we did feel like "they" were trying to get you in & out as fast as possible.

We love Planet Hollywood. We collect the glasses and I have them from DLP, cancun, London, Las Vegas, South Coast Plazza, New York and of course Orlando so far. My DD has always liked visiting Planet Hollywood ever since she was little and I am sure you will have a great time. Enjoy yourselves.

I went to PH last August for the first time and loved it, so did my daughter Vicki, the food was great, there was plenty of it and there was so much to see in there. I think you have to give it a go and see what you think :goodvibes

Also I note you are staying at Saratogo Springs Resort so not far to go to get there you could even see it from your window if you have a DTD view!!!!

If your DS wants to go then I would go :)

Sometimes the food is not the only attraction :thumbsup2

I asked him last night after reading the reveiws (didn't let on I had booked for a surprise for him though ;) ) and he said he would still like to go and see it, he is a huge film fan. I will let you all know when we get back if we would go again ;) We haven't really done that many disney restaurants so maybe our expectations won't be so high that we won't enjoy it.

We are staying at SSR Sue for the first time  can't wait

Go to www.planethollywood.com/partners/entertainment_coupon_jan2001_print.htm for a printable coupon worth $5 off any food, beverage, or merchandise purchase of $20 or more.

If the direct link doesn't work, I found the coupon by going to www.mousesavers.com, then click on Walt Disney World, then click on "meals, snacks, & Drinks", then "Coupons & Special Deals, and ""Printable Coupons and Off-Site Restaurant Deals".

Have a good time.

Thanks, was just about to go into the DVC website to see if you get a discount with being a member.
thanks for that

:thumbsup2 We loved it!! The food was amazingly good we shared a starter platter and ate the rocket lasagne and the half pound burger but there's plenty of choice and lots to see if your into films but HRC was even better! We've been there with DS when he was 2 the staff were brilliant with him . Food was brill too, try the Pig Sandwich if you go and remember to leave room for dessert, we split a hot fudge sundae between 3 and still couldn't finish it all, DS loved the music too and danced next to the table when he finished eating :thumbsup2 he was just so happy, Don't stress over it too much just enjoy yourselves :grouphug: Remember to tip generously the staff really appreciate it :thumbsup2

We ate at Planet Hollywood twice in February (on the Disney Dining Plan). I loved the food- Bruschetta as a starter and pasta as a main course. The first time we were sitting on the top floor, and our server made us feel quite rushed, but on the second visit downstairs it was a lot better. I suppose if you take your time anyway, it would not be so rushed.

The theming is wonderful though, and I think the food is delicious, with a great variety in the menu.
