Do you need an ADR to get in there? Will we be okay if we do a walkup? I have never eaten at the one at DTD, but my cousin asked if we were going to eat there since we got the vouchers with our package.

I used to love the one in Atlanta, but haven't heard very many good things about the one at DTD. Will small children like it?

Please help, we leave to go down on Dec 13.

with it being holiday time, try to get an ADR, without one it may be possible but you may have a long wait. Last time we went to a Disney restaurant w/o and ADR they said "we are not accepting walk-ups, you have to have an ADR," that was two years ago when i didnt even know what an ADR was! That's how i found out. Now we always get them! Hey but if they dont let you in you can go to the new TREX place in DownTown Disney since they are not accepting ADR's, atleast not as far as i know-since they just opened. Little kids would love that, Planet Hollywood is fun to look at all the memorabilia.

I personally LOVE Planet Hollywood. I think it's really cool.

From what I remember you do need an ADR (double check that though).. also, I remember the girl saying that you had to make the ADR the day of your reservation. Now, my memory is a bit foggy but I hope someone can give you a definite answer. Also, I just checked their website and it said this:
RESERVATIONS:

For group reservations of 15 or more, please contact our Sales Office at 407-827-7836.

I don't know if this means you can only make reservations for parties of 15 or more though. :confused3

I guess I'm really no help..
But what I can tell you is this: it's a really fun resturant and I think young kids will enjoy it. The best thing on the menu is the Captn Crunch Chicken Fingers! YUM!

Hope you get the ADR situation figured out!

That was what I used to get at the one in Atlanta. I will call to see if we can get ADR's.

We love Planet hollywood:cool1: we make sure we go there at least once every trip. Depends on how many is in your party, and the time. Less then three, walk up is deffently possiple, just give your self about 30 to 45 minutes. You can not make resv past 9pm, but the kids will love it lots to look at. Hve fun

We LOVED it our last trip - actually, was my kids request to go there. I have to say, they all loved their kid meals there, more so than all the mac & cheese and chicken nuggets they got the rest of the week.

I would make an ADR. they let you make them, but can't make a same-day ADR, has to be more than one day in advance I believe.

I made an ADR 6 months in advance for my trip last April, and still had to wait a bit to get our table. My boys who were 9 and 7 when we went loved looking at all the memorabilia, and my daughter who just turned 5 was up dancing in the aisles all by herself :rotfl:
It was a blast and I can't wait to go back again next year!

we always make reservations at planet, as if we don't we usually have to wait a long time if we don't.

it's a great place to eat, good atmosphere, and the kids will adore it.

something for everyone

We wanted to go too but were not sure when exactly so we bought VIP vouchers from this link.

They are $10 per person, each person in your party needs one and you get to be in the front of the line. You use the vouchers to pay for your meal.

It was nice to have a meal that was partially paid for ahead of time, and we were able to decide when to go while we were already on our vacation.

The one difficult thing I found out about ADRS is we cancelled half of them because plans always change once you are on your vacation. So this is a nice option.:)

We have the $15 voucher and I can also get me Table in Wonderland discount of 20% that I can use in addition to the voucher. I was able to get the last lunch ressies of the day at 4:30pm. We have a child with Autism in our group, so we have to eat on a schedule, so we have to have ADR's, no options there. It is a little early (only 30 minutes) for him, but better early than the 9:30pm she wanted to give me.

We ate at PH last New years Eve about 7 pm with a 10 min wait for table but we was only a table of 3 so that might have made a bit of difference I would not recommend a table of 6 trying to walk in with out ADR
