planet hollywood voucher?

I received my documents and it says a free meal and gift at planet hollywood. It also says that it expires at the end of the year. I am first staying offsite for 5 nights, then the disney cruise. I would be checking onto disney property for another week. Here is my question.
Can I use the voucher before actually staying on property? What do you have to show them? Any resort ID? I would love to use this voucher before we are on the dining plan.

I posted a question about the voucher a couple times in the past month and no one ever responded. I think I'm just going to call with my question. Did you get one voucher per package or one voucher per each person in your party?
