:cool1: :cool1: We are planning on eating dinner there our first night >The menu looks great for our family of 5. What time is good we were thinking of around 5:30p.m. Anyone have any reviews or suggestions? :cool1:      :cheer2: :cheer2: :moped:

Not sure how busy it is round dinnertime, we went there last year for lunch and the burgers and fries were really good.... and the atmosphere is awesome :thumbsup2

Food was very good, but what I remember most is that the music was uncomfortably LOUD. I don't understand why restaurants do that...

I've been to the Orlando PH twice. Once the food was really good and the other time my burger was just average.

You have to go there with the right expectations. It is a really cool atmosphere. The food is not gourmet. But just like the Hard Rock Cafe, PH does well with it burgers and shakes, bbq and salads. I'd stay away from Italian just because I think the closest thing you are going to get to true Italian there is a prop from the Godfather.

The fajitas were great the last time we were there. We have an ADR there also in Oct. Our kids love it. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Dinner time is VERY busy! I would be there at 5. If you wait till 6 you will be waiting about an hour or more to be seated. The music is VERY loud~ I have eaten there 4 times and the food is good.

Thanks I,ll try for ADER at 5p.m.The family are not let's say adventourous when it comes to foood so this looked quite normal! Lots of appetizers to choose from that they likeand simple stuff like steak too We have a Hard rock here and I now know the food will be similar. My DD thinks she'll see celebraties!!!Oh well she"ll live!!

Awesome atmosphere. Very loud. Overpriced ($12.00 for a hamburger) Non-existant service (waited over 25 minutes to get our drink order taken) There was three of us, we didn't get an appetizer and we had a coupon for a free entree. Our bill was still over $45.00. It is the same way at the All Star cafe. Will not be going back to either one of those again.

We've always had really great experiences at Planet Hollywood in DTD (been 4 times over the last 2 years). The steaks and ribs are good but the L.A. Lasagna is amazing and their desserts are super! I know that a lot of people have had bad service but I have always lucked out and had some of the best servers ever.

We are going to PH also. I think the menu looks great for non adventurous eaters. And yes, we have a couple. :sunny:

We've been there twice and neither time did it compare favorably with PH at the Mall of America. We can't recommend this restaurant. If you want a great burger go to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville at Universal City Walk. This is the ONLY time I'll recommend anything at Universal over Disney, btw.

We just ate there in May and was not impressed at all. We've eaten at several Hard Rocks and figured it would be similar to that. We waited about 30-40 minutes for our table. VERY slow waiter. We ordered an appetizer, it never arrived. When the waiter FINALLY returned to refill our drinks, we asked about the appetizer, he left to go check on it. Came back 15 minutes later and said the kitchen had lost our order. Ummm, hello... in the 15 minutes he was gone, they could have made another one. Anyway, he came back a few minutes later with our meals (funny they lost the appetizer but not the rest of our order :confused3 ). My burger was not fully cooked (as I had ordered), but decided against sending it back (afraid the waiter would spit on it!).

It was VERY LOUD! Which we did not like at all. It may not bother some people, but it made it very difficult to have a conversation and was very distracting for us.

Average food, bad service.

I like PH! The food is okay, but I like a lot of atmosphere in the restaurants I like, and PH fits the bill! It is very LOUD though, so just be forewarned.

The kids like loud so doubt it will bother them Me I'll go armed with Tylenol!! It's going to be our first night and am looking forward to a little sightseeing in Downtown disney after and maybe using s.c. for a brakfast item next a.m. Any ideas?????

We ate at Planet Hollywood for lunch last Thursday. No reservation - we just walked right in. They took a great picture of us. We had the best manacotti - with mushrooms, chicken, spinach and cheese. The kids ate chicken fingers.

It's a bit loud - but only at certain times and then quiets down :)

Great place to eat in the late afternoon - after enjoying DQ.

We ate there on Mother's Day this year. We had a reservation for 5 o'clock.
We were seated right away, had great food and great service. The music was a little loud but I would go again. :thumbsup2

Planet Hollywood is a typical form over substance kind of restaurant. Lots of cool things to look at and a fun atmosphere, but the food is mediocre and the service is the same.

It's fun for a one time visit - just set your expectations appropriately and go for the Hollywood theming, not for a great restaurant experience.

I think we'll like it , as I said not the adventourous crew with me when it comes to foodbut they will love the atmosphere, Can anyone tell me how long we should allow to get their From Pop??

Please try the Captain Crunch Chicken....usu. an appetizer but could be a meal. It is the best!!
