Planet Hollywood... Really?

I didn't realize that Planet Hollywood at DTD was such a popular dinner spot. We have a trip coming in Sept and we tried to see if we could book an ADR at Planet Hollywood for dinner, and nothing was available for any of the days that we would want to have dinner there. Very surprising.

We have never had dinner there only lunch or late lunch and it was never really busy. We like to use the $15 voucher we get with the trip.

Oh well, we'll play it by ear, check the online dining to see if anything opens up, but if we can't get to eat at PH, no biggie. Still just surprised it that's popular at dinner....

I am laughing becuase I had the same experience this am. I made my 180 day reservations at 6:00 am. I got Ohanas, LeCellier, Cinderellas Castlle, etc all at the times I needed. The ONLY reservation I literally could not get is Planet Hollywood. It was last on my list because I assumed it would be so easy to get.

I wanted a DDD restaurant so I booked Rainforest Cafe. I know its not on the DDP but I had to pay for one anyway so this will be fun and different anyway. We have been to other PHs.

Planet Hollywood is the new LeCellier (lol)

That's funny. I wonder how many others have gone through that and been like Huh?!. Well anyway, I called the PH @ DTD directly and there message stated for resevation call WDW-Dine 24 hrs in advance. I'll keep checking here and there and will call the day before and see what happens. We should be fine if we just have to walk up anyway.

I keep checking the online reservation system and the only times that show up are until 4pm and I had one show up for 10pm. That's it. I will probably call the day before and just keep checking online here and there. But I doubt I would have any issues just walking up either. No worries.

Great...see you there! I'm so excited we are under the 4 month mark!!! The week we leave will also be the week I finish the last of my college courses...so it's extra special! My children are so happy I am almost done. I start my internship the week after we get back so I need this vaca!

We ended up deciding on the Big River Grille the night we wanted planet Hollywood....what do you guys think? Should we do this or chance Planet Hollywood...our party size is 10!

FYI, I think you might be able to get your reservation for your party size. When I called PH directly, the message gave a separate # for parties 8+. And I think there an extra # listed on the WDW website for PH for parties 8+ as well. Worth a shot...

I am glad I read this thread! I was wondering what the heck was going on with PH reservation times.
I could only get weird times, like 3:30.
