On the day we arrive we're going to go over to DTD. We're going to do Disney Quest too. I figured it would be easier to book and ADR down there. Well, we don't eat seafood, and that's the only restaurant I could find for my picky eaters. I have not heard much about this restaurant. The menu looks good.

What are your opinions. Thanks in advance!

I would try House of Blues they are similar or even T-REX... I would stay away from PH bad food at high prices... The other 2 have OK food at high prices :lmao:

We loved the food- but were meeting back up with family after a long day and wanted to talk but couldn't over the obnoxious music. It was just too loud!

We enjoy PH very much. It depends if you want something included with the dining plan or not. We always do PH on the day we arrive and we always had great food. The only thing is it's loud, so let's just say you don't go there to have a long nice conversation!

The food at PH is just ok..and its kinda pricey..and if you like to have a conversation while you eat, it ain't happening there!! Its just wayyyy to loud..you will have to scream what you want to the waiter!!! Yes, its that loud!! For a funner atmosphere, go to t rex, or even Rainforrest cafe. They took Mcdonalds out, that always used to be what my kids ate!!

The single worst dining experience of my life.

We used to go every trip due to that discount coupon included with on-site rooms. It was mediocre but cheap with the discount.

The last time we went, I had cold, rock hard fries, a BBQ Bacon cheese burger without any BBQ sauce, food that was obviously not prepared to order, inattentive wait staff, a 45-minute wait for the check until the dude selling the pictures could hit up our table, and just an overall crap time.

We won't return when there's a plethora of other options that give better food for better prices.

We went last Sept using the dining plan. The food was ok didn't have any problems. It was very loud. I like T-rex better and the kids enjoyed it better, wish it was on the dining plan. We are going again next month and will be on the DP but will do T-rex and pay out of pocket. My 2 1/2 old luvs luvs dinos.

We like it. It's usually our first night tradition. My son and I split the ribs and can't finish the meal between us. It's loud and crowded, so if that's going to bother you, there are definitely better options (House of Blues was mentioned... good option)

I won't eat there again. It was way too loud, the food was not very good, and the service was slow.

We enjoyed our food, but as others have mentioned, it is very loud! Usually I dont mind loud but this was rediculous!!!

If you don't mind going to Planet Hollywood at lunch, it's much quieter at lunch. The music was still a little loud, but the place was pretty empty. Our food and service was good. My son was happy to be able to get potato skins, which aren't served in the Disney restaurants.

I try to be pretty forgiving when it comes to restaurants because there are many factors that can affect your experience but Planet Hollywood failed EVERY catagory. How in the world they managed to find a supplier who could sell them tough chicken fingers is beyond me. The ONLY thing I liked about it was the exit.

We went for dinner in 2008 and my meal was one of the best I had all week. It was called L.A. lasagna and was yummy! The kids enjoyed the atmosphere, also:thumbsup2

My husband and i LOVE Planet Hollywood. It is loud - but we like the food and decor. Our favorite is the LA Lasagna!

I'm a extremely picky eater and I LOVE PH..we eat there every trip and last trip did it 3 times it is one of our Disney faved

We are going on our first night there. We went to the one in Vegas and loved it. My kids really liked the menu and I have heard good things about the decor so we should be good. I'm not too worried about "loud" as most restaurants are. You can't hear yourself think at Cheesecake Factory here but that don't stop me from going, LOL

Love PH. This is always our first night dinner. And I've never been disappointed in 5 trips. It is loud, but we don't mind at all. Love the music, memorabilia and atmosphere. I honestly don't find Rainforest Cafe to be an quieter with the rainstorm and stampeding animals. :confused3  T-Rex is not for us and I haven't tried the other restaurants mentioned. I'm very much a creature of habit and until I have a bad experience, I'll probably keep going back to PH.

FWIW, I went to the PH in NYC a few weeks ago.:scared1: Dirty, dingy, horrible food, service. Blech.

My family absolutely loves Planet Hollywood. It was by far our best dining experience at Walt Disney World, and we plan to go back many more times on our upcoming visit. :worship:

Our worst dining experience happened at Wolfgang Puck....Never again will we eat there. :scared:
