PLANET HOLLYWOOD- Honestly, all booked for New Years Eve Day ?

I have looked repeatedly for the past few weeks to see if I could book a reservation using the Disney Dining Reservation online system for Planet Hollywood in DTD for New Years Day (lunch and dinner), and it consistently has no reservations available at all..the first time I looked was actually 2 months ago, and it was not available....Is it possible they really are just not showing anything and there is availability...I find it hard to believe that there is not a single slot all day...

No offense, but Planet Hollywood? There are so many better options for food at Disney than THAT!

That said, there's usually a line out the door for the one in Times Square too, so I guess it is that popular. I don't get it.

The one time I've been there, we walked up and had no problem - that was on Christmas Day several years ago.

edit: Is it even ON the Disney reservations system? I was under the impression that they did their own thing and were just sort of there.

New Year's Eve is the single busiest day of the year at WDW so I would not be surprised at anything being booked up at this late date.

Restaurants that are not operated by Disney sometimes do not offer all their available tables for booking through the Disney reservation system. Don't know what kind of luck you might have by calling Planet Hollywood directly.
