How do you all feel about planet hollywoods food. I have seen alot of negative reviews on it. We have some vochures to redeem and thought we would try it this trip. Also should I get ADR for this location?

We really enjoyed our food there! We also heard negative reviews, but had the 15 dollar voucher so gave it a try anyway! We went for lunch, and it was one of our best meals the whole trip! Service was great, atmosphere was great. I cant recall if we had an ADR, I think we did. But a part of me also remembers hearing they do not accept ADRs in the summer? Maybe someone else can clarify. It was not very busy when we went for lunch, in August.

I'm not a huge fan of PH. I've been to several and they're chain type food. I would rather try a Disney centered restaurant. Granted if you have the $15 voucher it may seem worth it. Not horrible, but nothing special-at all.

As for ADR's, depending on time of year they only take ADR's for certain times. We've had ADR's and arrived significantly early or horribly late (due to weather) and have never had a problem getting seated.

We've only eaten there once but we thought the food was really good. It's not gourmet by any means but we had the Texas Tostada appetizer and we both ordered the Turkey Club sandwich. We thought everything was great.

The only things I didn't like about the restaurant is that it is extremely crowded and it's extremely loud. I have no complaints about the food though and we really enjoyed looking at all of the movie memorabilia.

Made a Ressie this morning for dinner at Planet Hollywood on the DDP...hope this helps..their menu is varied and has a lot for a family who likes a lot of different things...so we are giving it a try...

We really like planet hollywood and it's a must do for us every trip. Food has always been good as has service. It's not much different from many of the "chain type" resturants. But we still enjoy it.

We went there and loved it. In fact, I was a little worried that it took so long to be put on the DDP for this year. We'll definitely be going back...LOVE the steak!!

From what I've read, I think it's very hit or miss. I've been twice, once with a large party and once with just DH and I and both times were pretty bad, and we won't go back even with the $15 voucher. For me, while the food really wasn't very good, it was more of the beyond horrible service we received, and we're not picky or rude ppl. We always got the sense they were just too busy (or really just didn't want to be there, as neither time were they very busy.) I personally wouldn't go back, but maybe you'll have better luck.

I've ordered the Turkey Club sandwich with fries all but a couple times I've been there, and it's always excellent. I've eaten at both the PH in Orlando and the one in Myrtle Beach, SC many, many times. I enjoy the sandwich even more at the DTD PH, for what it's worth. They have some wonderful smoothies too.

We didn't make it there the last two trips (2007 I wasn't feeling well on the day we were going there, and 2008 we got there just a tad too late to be seated), so I'm thrilled about going back in May. It's three floors of memorabilia and seating, and it's just really fun.

We love PH!! we make It a point to eat there at least once each trip.I really do not get the bad reviews??,ok Is the food going to top the top 10 Restraunts In America?? naaa I do not think so,but they serve simple Buger joing food that you know what you are eating and your going to enjoy.Now are they going to have bad meals or off nights,yep Its going to happen but thats with any meal at any place.They serve you good food and a great atmephere to go along with It.

I have been to PH before, but my husband had never been. He wanted to go just for the atmosphere, plus we had the 15 dollar voucher too. The food is just mediocre. I find Applebee's, O'Charley's, and Ruby Tuesday much better, and naturally much cheaper. We made ADR, but it really wasn't needed during the time we went in February. The wait was only about 20 minutes long.

I am sorry to say that it was our least favorite restaurant the whole week. Even with the voucher it wasn't woth it for us. Didn't like the food, service or decor and will not go back. Will be trying Raglan Rd next time.

Ughhhhhhhhh, I have a review in my food report in my siggie. We did not have a good experience there and the food we ordered was extremely tasteless. We won't be going back even with the $15.00 free gift certificate.

We have eaten there twice. Both times it was with other people because of the 15.00 voucher. We will not go back, no matter who asks us to go with them! The food was not anything special, it is expensive for what you get, and I could not get over how loud it was.
I love fun, exciting places, and music, but I felt like I was yelling the entire time. Instead of being rejuvenated, I was tired after the experience!
Not my cup of tea.
