Has anyone ever used the VIP Seating coupon with DestinationCoupons.com?

They have a coupon that says skip waiting in line, Get first available seating.

I was just wondering if it is legit.

We are on the dining plan, however, we have a day off to spend at DTD and we have the 15.00 off voucher from our package so we thought we might try it.

It's legit. We actually used it twice on our trip last year. We were on the DDP too and the earliest ADR I could get for our arrival day at 180 days out was 10pm. So I read about the coupons here printed some out to take along just in case. I presented one at the podium and we were up and seated within 10 minutes, the lady at the podium was telling everyone it was 1 to 1 1/2 hour wait. We liked it so much we canceled another ADR later in the week and went back. HTH.

If you are going to Planet Hollywood for the atmosphere you should enjoy it. If you are going for the food…not so much. I am most definitely not a food snob but have to warn you that the worst meal I have ever had at any restaurant on the face of the Earth was Planet Hollywood. The second worst meal I have ever had on the face of the Earth was also Planet Hollywood.

If you are looking for a fun restaurant at DTD I would recommend the Rainforest Café. I have eaten there twice and had two good experiences. We also took one of my friend’s daughter there for her 7th birthday and she had a great time.

Just my two cents, I’m sure others have had good experiences there.

We had great food both times we were there. Just lucky I guess. We also did RFC liked the scenery but not the food.

If you have never been to PH, I'd so go. We've been a few times over the years but was extremely disappointed when I went this last March with my $15 voucher.

We were seated right away and I think had our food within 5 minutes of placing our order. It was just "okay". I think we spent only 40 minutes at the place .... think I've been at a counter service restaurant longer than that!!

Anyway, very rushed - food nothing special. Great atmosphere as far as a unique setting; however, it is not a relaxing place to be.

RFC ... we've always enjoyed the food there - although again, I don't think it would win any culinary prizes. Extremely noisy. But I prefer it over Planet Hollywood. If you plan to go, check out joining the Safari Club ... you get VIP seating, discount at the gift shop and discounton the meal and/or a free appetizer. One time payment of $15 ... life-time membership at all Landry Restaurants (RFC, Joe's Crab Shack, etc).

We always take our card with us and show it when checking in ... last time we were seated in 30 minutes while others had to wait 90 minutes or more!
