Hello, I'm just looking for some advice.

I am on holiday 21st July-4th August this year with my extended family - 12 of us in total. We generally have no interest in table service meals and making ADRs, its not our idea of a good time.

However, on 2nd Aug my DS turns 18 and he wants to go to Planet Hollywood that evening for a meal.

In the Unofficial guide, it says reservations are accepted. Do you think we need to make an ADR, bearing in mind the size of our group, and if so when should we make it? I think we are currently about 115 days out, we are staying off-site.

TIA :)

For a group of 12 I would definitely make a reservation. Most places have to move tables in order to accommodate larger parties. I saw that your travel dates are during the summer, I would say make the reservation as early as you can.

I would. You know you want to eat there, when you want to eat there, and you have a large party. You are also going during a decently busy time of year (summer season). Not making a reservation could result in a very long wait.

You will absolutely need an ADR to get into Planet Hollywood during the summer. That being said, however, you may want to check a few reviews before committing to PH. It is consistently rated one of the worse dining experiences at WDW. This is something you may want to consider for such a momentous occasion.:confused3
