Plane Ride

Well this is what happened on my last plane ride to florida from New Jersey.
We have 4 kids in my family My older brother Josh who is 17, Me(kelly) who is 12, My younger brother ryan who is 9, and My younger sister Amanda who is 2. We also have my mom and dad. Well we get to the airport it takes about 10 mins to check in since there was a long line. Amanda likes to disappear on us sometimes, so dad told Josh to hold her, because Josh is her favorite sibling. Well I guess she didn't want to be held, because she started screaming like crazy, and people started looking at us. After we checked in Amanda was still screaming, so dad took her from Josh and brought her told her to stop crying and screaming or we were gonna call granma and go and leave her at home and she stopped crying. After that we went throught security and then went to get breakfast. After breakfast it was about 10:00 o'clock, so we headed to the gate. Ryan and Josh were fighting to see who got the seat the the window. Josh won so he got to sit by the window, I sat in the middle and ryan sat on the end, across from us where my dad at the end, Amanda in the middle and my mom by the window. Take off went well, Amanda was a little scared, but then dad told her to look at her big sister and be a big girl and she didn't cry so that was good. Once they said we could get up, mom told dad to take amanda to the bathroom. So they got up and went to the bathroom. Ryan want to sit with mom, so he moved over there and I move to the end seat. Dad and Amanda came back and Amanda wanted to sit by Josh so dad put her in the middle of us, so she could and sat back down. After a while Amanda was getting tried and wanted to sit next to mommy and daddy as amanda calls them, but ryan wanted to sit there still. Mom told him to let amanda sit there because she looked like she was going to cry. So ryan moved back to the end I moved to the middle and amanda sat by mommy and daddy. Amanda fell asleep for about a half hour, when she woke up she wanted to sit next to daddy and Josh. So mom and Josh switched and ryan moved to the window, mom sat in the middle and I moved to the end. We landed in florida and Josh, Mom, Ryan and I went to wait for the luggage, while dad and amanda got her stroller. We meet up with them down by baggage and the boys went to get the luggage, while the girls stayed by luggage we already had. Amanda wanted to help with the luggage so she went by the boys. After they got all the luggage we meet up and caught shuttle bus to disney world.

wow! that's um......interesting. my sister thinks that she gets window when we go in september but she's nutz i get it! she was saying "i get window!" and this was when my mom booked our trip in december..........

well we are going soon.. like on firday on a plane. and off to DWD! woot.well i remember our last plane ride. like 2 years ago (to WDW). well.

well. we all were "prepared" for the plane ride, and well someone decided to bring scissors along board..
well they got those taken away, with the embarrasment.
well me got the window seat and sat beside my mom. and brooke.
then grandpa and jordan and my dad got the other seat. then grandma brooke and emily..
wow what a family.
we had some tough times when emily was kicking some guys seat the whole time. and he turned around and yelled at her. (she couldn't help it she was bored right?)
then there was my dad yelling ..cause of his ears. his ears really hurt from take off. and jordan he was 3 then.. and cried alot.
..what a family
but we all had a blst when we got there! and we will be heading out friday! from ontario!
and i just wanted to say..
Go LEAFS GO!
i'm a huge tucker fan.. and got to meet him last sunday!
hopefully we will make playoffs!

Lol, plane rides are always interesting. Still, I have the strangest, most disturbing plane ride story to tell. It trumps all.

Anyway, those with weak stomachs should NOT read this. Here goes..

This was maybe 10-12 years ago. We had seats towards the back of the plane. All of a sudden, we smelled a truly awful smell. It was just disgsting. We look around to see an older woman acting like NOTHING has happened. Everyone else is nearly gagging, so we knew it was her. It turns out that she had an accident while waiting for the plane to take off. A steward came an offered to take her away to get..cleaned up. Anyway, by no means did she want to admit that she was the culprit. She kept insisting that she had no idea what was going on because she did not want to face the shame. Eventually, after a while they got her cleaned up, but still...that plane ride will live in infamy.....

Plane rides are generally boring for me.
The first flight is to Toronto, early in the morning. It's mostly only old men on business reading the newspaper that's in there.
I'm usually too busy watching tv on the second one to notice.

We felt extremely bad for her, but what can you do? It's someone you don't know, can't engage in converstion..it wasn't fun.

Sadly, I probably did. I was either 5 or 6, so I couldn't really help it. In hindsight it was probably a bit mean, but there you have it. Unfortunately lots of adults did it too though.

Wow you had a really exiting journey! I wish our plane rides were like that. Mine are all pretty boring because there is my mum, dad and me(Victoria), because we are from England we have a 9 hour plane journey. It doesn't really bother me because I love flying. But my mum watches the back of the seat t.v and my dad sleeps the whole time so it gets quite boring.
