Yes...this is a true story and it happened in Orlando.
My father was transferred from Atlanta to Orlando in December. He works for Northwest Airlines as a flight-line mechanic down there. He works all night on the planes that are parked at the gates.....mostly A-320's and 757's.
In the 3 months that he's been there, he's gotten a nice tan and some great stories...
He flew up here this weekend and was telling us about an airplane that landed on an alligator. Can you imagine? It was an American Airlines plane and it landed on the gator's tail. The alligator survived, but had to be put down. It was a 10-footer, too!
