this is one of the reasons I'm so proud of my pilot dad to do what that guy did - land it wings perfect, belly landing in water, what a guy. That crews professionalism saved every one of those lives.

I was just looking up a US Air flight for my next trip and read about the crash on their homepage. I didn't book yet. I must admit, it kind of put me off flying. But that sort of thing doesn't happen everyday - unlike road crashes.

Looking at the images, it could have been fatal. The pilot must have known what he was doing. And the folk who got everyone off the plane did a brilliant job too.

I heard an interview with one of the passengers and they said the crash could have been caused by a bird.

It must have been awful being onboard. I can't begin to imagine what it must have felt like. I wonder what they'll do with the plane. It looks really weird just floating around in the river.

The out come could have been alot worse.
The ferrymen did a brilliant job also coming so quickly to the aid of the everyone ,

Amazing is all I can say,it could of been a tragedy..it's a miracle they all excaped with minor injuries.
