Plane arrival and first FP

Our plane is scheduled to arrive orlando at 11 am. We are going to do Animal Kingdom on arrival! What would be a safe time to book first FP? Does 2pm sound safe?

If you're taking Magical Express to the hotel, checking in and then going off to the park, I would leave 3 hours to be safe. I have accomplished all that in 2 hours, but depending on when you are going, crowds, traffic, etc.... 3 hours is definitely a safe bet. Have fun!

Are you driving from the airport and not stopping at hotel first?

Keeping in mind the time to get your bags, plus a rental car, then the drive and parking, walking into the park, 2p may be a little tight on the time - especially if flight is delayed at all, which happens all to often! But 2-3p window could still work.

I would book it so that the arrival window STARTS at 2pm.

We arrived by Magical Express as well - checking in at Yacht Club, then heading to MK.

Our flight was supposed to land at 10am, but it landed early - around 9:35am. We were in the queue waiting for ME by 10:10am. We had checked in, checked our carry on luggage at Bell Services (no room yet) and were waiting at the YC bus stop by 11:40am. From texts with a friend we were meeting up with, we boarded the bus to MK around 11:55am, and were in line at Guest Relations to activate our Armed Forces Salute tickets by 12:15. Our BOG FP+ window started at around 12:30, and we got to BOG within 5 mins of the window opening

So basically it took from landing at 9:30am until walking into BOG at 12:30ish - so appx 3 hrs. I wouldn't book one any sooner than that.
