Plan to keep dry?

Another vote to storing your wallet/money in a plastic bag. Hey, I thought I was prepared - had my poncho, pants were rolled up, shoes and socks safely stowed away. Yeah right, when the ride was finished, the only dry part of me was knees to waist, everything else was soaked to the bone. Bathing suits are the only proper attire. Everything else should require a change of clothes.

I haven't been on those rides yet, but from what I've been told,
I'm thinking you'd have to wear waders and a slicker if you really wanted to stay dry.

In summer, waders would have the bonus effect of a nice weight loss, I would think. ;)

The thing about Popeye is that Universal Creative engineers, using the most high-tech technology and advanced mathimatical equations, worked endlessly to create areonomically proficiant seat to ensure that each and every single rider will get their entire behind SOAKED! So if you wear ponchos or not, you're still gonna get your butt all wet! The best thing to do is to just go as is, and enjoy all the soaken wet fun.

Does anyone know if you can just wear flip flops in the park??? cause I wear those all the time so im use to walking around allot in them and they would be really easy for the wet rides... Plus their cheap and can look good..lol

You can do that. On some of the rides, you'll have to kick them off, so it's best to go for sandals with backs on them.

Cool... I will go see if I can find some sandals w/ backs and i'll bring a pair of flip flops for the studios... I will look for the Nike ones someone was talking about earlier... are those the ones w/ those thin Nylon straps? I havent bought a pair of sandals in a while... thanx!

We do all three water rides together. We bring a bag from the hotel with changes of clothes for everybody (shorts, tees), plus our flip flops/sandals and a big towel. We put the bag in the lockers (they're really pretty inexpensive), along with our cameras and fanny packs. Once we're done (usually 2-3 trips on each), we change back to our regular in the bathrooms between Bluto and Dudley and enjoy the rest of the day. The few bucks for the lockers are definitely worth the comfort level. Especially this last trip in February (brrrr....).
