Okay we leave this Thursday for DL. :cool1: We arrive on Sunday and we are at the HJ's Sun-Wed :thumbsup2 and DH Thurs-Friday. :rotfl2: We have 5 day passes with Goofy Kitchen on Wed (I believe) it is for breakfast. (don't have the tickets right in front of me). As I have been reading the boards here for several months now and taking notes my mind is getting more over whelmed of where to start and with 5 days what not to miss. I am traveling with DS's 9 and 13 first trip. :Pinkbounc :bounce: DH and I are return to DL but it's been 20 years! I am reading about all the EE, Fast Past, PS shows and shows! Ahhhh. Give me a plan! :smooth:

Make sure you take advantage of your early entry days while at the DLH. Show up a half an hour before EE time to open because you can really take advantage of the Fantasyland area. Even if your boys aren't into that stuff(as my older 2 are not) they will surely like Buzz lightyear and Space mountain. The park gets busy after EE is over. I personally would make the time to see Fantasmic and the Fireworks show because it is really awesome this year. Try to be in front of the castle area or you will miss some things during the fireworks. I would definetely try to call and make a reservation through disney dinig for the Blue Bayou if possible. Also if you don't have a RC where you live do the RC in DTD. I would call them to make ressies too.If I were you and haven't been in a long time I would try to look up Hydroguys info. on this board. He has a lot of info. for the peak season. Sorry don't know how to paste and all that fancy computer stuff. Anyway have a great time and try to get a DTD view at DLH Sierra Tower if you can. Good Luck!

I have not been to WDW...which sounds very super planned. I guess I would say find the things you want to ride first, get a fast pass for something else, and just go for those things...and then just cruise...find what is fun.
In DL Pirates will be big...Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Buzz Lightyear.

In DCA the big draw is Soarin...and Monsters inc was big when we were there.
Tower of Terror has been never been more than 30 minutes for us

We have never super planned and always had magical times.

The Unofficial Guide book has great touring plans, depending on the ages of those in your party, and whether you have one or two days in each park. I am going to base our plans on these when we go, mixing in a few grown-up rides for DH into the plan for little ones.

I think your boys are at a great age for making the most of your time there and being able to do any attraction they'd like (and both the fireworks and Fantasmic!), so just pick and choose the ones that most interest you and make sure to hit those. Choose also some things to do as time permits, and fill in with those. I think you'll have an awesome time!

Also, while you are at the DLH don't forget on your non early entry days you can get into Califrnia Adventure Park a half an hour early through the Grand Californian (show your hotel key) and the only ride open is Soarin' but why not take advantage of that too!
