Plan for Tree House Villas

Just back from a perfect trip to WDW-was told by 2 different employees that the tree house villas will be used for 2nd year college program-intern program. Each villa will house a few students who have attained a higher level within the program and are acting as managers while in training. I can't imagine all the restrictions they will have on them as the units are so visable from the water and golf course.

That would be a great use for the Treehouse Villas.

A couple of years ago the barkeeper told my DH that was what they werre using some of the Treehouses for at that time. So, it could be that the plan you heard just means they were going to repair the Treehouses that were damaged and expand the number of Treehouses they are using for that purpose.

We were told that they are unoccupied now-only staged with furniture so they dont look empty when you pass them on the boat or golf course. They said they are timer lit at nite for security. There are still a few tree limbs on some of the decks, but most of the storm damaged has been cleanned up.
