Plan feedback: MK closing early

Hello,
I could use some feedback. We are planning to be visiting parks January 29 - February 02. We typically do MKx2 and the other parks once.

We see that MK is supposed to close early on January 29 at 4:30.

Are we crazy for considering going to MK on Monday with hopes of lower crowds?

Any feedback on the order of the rest of the week?

MK may be closing early for a private event or cast member party. Usually, the park will be less crowded on an early closure day that won’t even have fireworks scheduled. I’ve had good luck on days like this.

Personally we would choose that day to go to MK for sure as many will go to other parks. Do you have PH tickets? If so, that's another reason to book MK that day!

Where are you seeing those hours for those dates? I don’t think hours have been released this early yet. Wondering if you are looking at a placeholder or something.

Sadly, no park hopper. But we are planning to go twice that week to MK

I found an article. I guess hours haven’t been released except for that day.

It seems like that would be a lower crowd day. I’d choose it if I weren’t looking for fireworks!

Aren’t park reservations ending January 9th? They won‘t need to book it.
Since they can’t hop, maybe they can get up early, do genie+ and get as many rides in as they can, then go back to hotel for a relaxing resort evening. Or maybe go to DS for a nice dinner.

You’re correct that park reservations are going away Jan 9th. Old terminology needs changing on my part.

I used ‘book’ as a personal choice to ‘plan’ to go there.
