Plan cruise like WDW?

OK, so I can see there are lots of things to do on the cruise. We'll be doing DCL AFTER having done WDW/Universal. We were hoping to kick back and relax. What I'm sensing is that we may have to have a plan for the cruise like we do for the World. Will I have to rush to reserve activities (dinner reservations, excursions, etc) or risk missing out? I was hoping we could just decide as we go but now I'm wondering if we have to decide before we go and have a plan in place to hit different reservation desks...then we'll end up w/another "schedule" we have to meet.

If I don't reserve some of these things ahead of time or upon arrival/check in, can I have any chance of adding them later if I want?

Do you have to reserve seats for shows and movies? Are there additional fees for them or are they included in the cruise pkg?

There are some things you will definately want to reserve in advance. Palo for dinner, spa reservations, some of the more popular excursions. Good news for excursions is you can reserve those before you even stop on the ship. Depending on the cruise you might be able to get what you want for Palo or the spa by just walking up but don't count on it. If you do a little bit of planning ahead and decide exactly what you want you'll be fine.

Don't worry about the movie or shows - no reserved seats there and they are included in your cruise price.

The best thing about a cruise is there is always something to do, but you don't have to do it. Take some time to relax and enjoy!
