Here are all the places we ate at while in Orlando. Not all of them are Disney places.

Tuesday night: Whispering Canyon Cafe.... We had heard so much about all the fun at this place we just had to see if for ourselves. Besides, we were meeting friends with little ones and needed a place they could move about without getting in trouble for making noise. This was the ideal place for that! The food was ok and expensive but the portions were large. I agree that the beef stew needs to go! Nasty! We had lots of leftovers to take back to our condo. Our boys got called upon to sing "happy birthday" to a 12 year old girl then afterwards were told that this girl's wish was to be kisssed by each boy. You should have seen the looks these kids gave that waitress... too funny! Then because I tried to convince our waitress to tease my hubby I got called up. She had me ride a stick horse around the restaurant yelling as loud as I could "I will not make for trouble". If I didn't yell loud enough I would have to go into the lobby and do it. Boy did I ever yell! Nobody at our table wanted to request ketchup because they saw what happened if you did.

Wednesday night: We ate at Hard Rock Cafe...this was dh's choice and his favorite. He purchased then All Access pass for $25 which got us seated right away, $20 in free merchandise from their store, and once he hits 200 points he'll get $20 cash. For those having a birthday their waiter/waitress would have them stand up on this table, hold their dessert with a candle in it, and everybody yells "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". Then at one point they had everyone stand up and sing the YMCA song. The waiters/waitresses all got up on tables and the bar and led us in the motions. It was great! The food was good and came out quickly.

Thursday: We ate a very late lunch at Bongo's Cafe located at Downtown Disney. We didn't eat real heavy meals there....just sandwiches but they were very good! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. I'm guessing it is great there at night because they have live music. For dinner Thursday we just ate leftovers from Whispering Canyon and snack stuff we had brought with us.

Friday: We ate lunch at Fisherman's Cove located at River Ranch.... avoid this place at all costs! We then headed into Orlando after riding horses so that we could have a decent dinner. We found Sweet Tomatoe and ate there. Our 2 youngest and pickiest eaters weren't happy with it but the rest of us liked it.

Saturday: After spending all day at the water park we went to Angel's seafood buffet. I loved it! The atmosphere was good, food was great! Who can pass up all you can eat crab legs, lobster, shrimp, prime rib, bbq ribs, etc. I'll tell you who.... my 8 year old daughter who was overly tired and needing a nap. She took 1 bite of corn, baked potato, and pizza, claimed it all tasted weird then wanted ice-cream. We told her that if she ate some chicken she could have some. She then had a melt down and started crying. Our waiter came to see if he could help. After finding out she didn't eat anything he took her food off our bill. How wonderful of him to do that! Dh then decided that we all needed a good dessert. Yes, our daughter has him wrapped around her finger..... heheheee So we went to Downtown Disney and all got ice-cream sundaes and such from Gherideli. Ohhhhh how yummy those were!

Sunday we headed home and stopped at Cracker Barrel. That was our cheapest meal for our whole vacation. :p

Compared to Cracker barrel, Disney sure isn't cheap!! But sounds like you had fun at Whispering canyon, and there, that's a BIG part of any meal.

Thanks for sharing your reviews. I love the Cracker Barrel -- you can't beat their prices for dinner and the portions are a good size. My daughter says they have the best mac and cheese.

Angel's is down from Water Mania Waterpark. It is attached to the Holiday Inn Nikki Bird Maingate hotel.

I wasn't too big of a fan of Bongos at night...it was an interesting experience, but pretty loud. I did enjoy the food, though. I'm glad you enjoyed your meal there!
