We are heading home to the AKV for our first time in October for a week. We are taking our best friends and their 4 yr old daughter and 18 month old son. We have never been to WDW with children and this will be their first trip. They would like to take a mid-day break most days and go back to the resort to relax.

I was thinking on the day we go to the MK if there was somewhere at the VWL where we could go and the children could take a small nap and/or rest for about two hours and was also thinking about going to the BCV or BWV on the day we go to DHS.

Any help, opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You could try the lobby in the Lodge at Wilderness Lodge, although it does have activity at all times (it is large though and there are always couches and seating areas available.

My best suggestion would be the Carolwood Pacific Room in the DVC part of the VWL. It is quiet, very private, and since you are DVCrs, it is certainly a welcoming place for you and your guests. This area is located just off of the main atrium (center area) of the DVC villas. It is easy to find. If you are coming in on the boat, walk past the main pool , past the DVC pool and on into the building. It will be on your left.
