I am soooooo bored with the cold weather and not being able to do anything! I hate being in the house and I wanna get out! I have 2 beautiful kids that I love to take pics of. Does anyone know of any really nice or fun or just plain beautiful places around the West Chester, PA area??
We've done Chanticleer Gardens and Longwood.... and Chuck E Cheese is getting really old. Any suggestions???

I've been thinking of taking my kids to the aquirium in NJ. We've been to the one in Baltimore & the kids really enjoyed it. Might be a nice day trip on a cold day. :)

If you're looking for a place to take nice photos...

In DE we have Brandywine Valley Park and also Rockwood park. Both have great trails to walk on and neat places for photos. Rockwood park has the Rockwood museum which is a neat old Victorian mansion. Winterthur museum and Hagley museum in Wilmington are nice as well.

A fun place for the kiddos to get a workout is Boomers in Avondale, PA. It's generally a nice crowd and a fun playplace to climb on, games, etc.

Now is a great time to do all the historical stuff in Philly. Not crowded a bit and you can actually take pictures without 100 people in them. Or Valley Forge see what Washington really went through. The aquarium in Cambden is a good idea my SIL took all the kids there over Xmas and they all enjoyed it ages ranged from 6-14. There is a fort by the Phila airport Fort Mifflin I think, that is pretty neat, then you can go get cheesesteaks -I am so envious!
