Hi.

Just wondering if anyone can give some advice about this. Im meant to be going in December and my auntie who aint that nice anyways said that we better have plenty money as someone in her family went and it cost £10 for a burger. Now im pretty sure thats wrong, lol.

But i have heard off a few people that the food is pricey, but what kind of places is there to eat and are the prices expensive or just a little more?

10 euros buys you a large burger large fries a drink and a youghurt or some kind of chocolate pudding or you can get nuggets or chicken burger in the same kind of meal deal ,there is plenty of choice you can make it as pricey or as cheap as you like ,ive been 5 times and im not a millioner so dont worry :wizard:

If you have a look at the Restaurant faq then some of the threads have prices. www.dlpfoodguide.com is also useful for a guide, even if a little out of date :)

Please don't worry about the price of food. It's no more expensive than any theme park in the UK. It really is possible to do Disney on a budget. You can fill up at breakfast, and if you do decide you would like to eat table service the all-you-can-eat buffets such as Plaza Gardens are excellent value.

Like stargatebarbie said the counter service meal deals are good value :thumbsup2 and there is always good old McDonalds in the Village. :goodvibes

Also, remember that eveything is in euros so when you see a meal deal for 10 euros it is really only about £7. :goodvibes

There is also a lovely bagette/panini shop in the train station which sells drinks and chrisps as well - we found them a nice lunchtime option and a fair bit cheaper than inside the park.

Hakuna Matata is a sort of KFC bucket type place and the cowboy cookout is a superb venue in December as it has an open fire and if your lucky a band playing near the Chrissy Tree:goodvibes

Caseys Corner on main street has those frankfurter hotdogs which DD loves and I absolutely loath :rolleyes1 and there is a hotdog/popcorn stand by the riverboat landing.

From what I remember we paid about 110 for our evening buffet at Inventions, 80 Euros @ Annettes and TLN (my personal CM favourite), and 100 euros at CM (my most dissapointing experience). All prices were for a family of 3 BTW.

If you want a nice meal try The Steakhouse in the village - the service and food were also outstanding. We paid about 100 euros for this meal but well worth it IMHO.

We will go back to TLN, The Blue Lagoon and the Steakhouse. :goodvibes

Dont forget you have to pre-book for the Disney restaurants :thumbsup2

Phew - thats a long post :dance3:

Also, you can get a small bottle of Coke in the Relay shop in the RER station for 1.50 rather than the 2.70 you are expected to pay in the park.

Don't waste money on coffee, I have never had a decent cup there. Unless you are in Cafe Mickey, theirs isn't 'too' bad...

Thanks everyone for the great replies, i'll make some notes so i dont forget, lol. I've been having a good read to of the Restaurant faq. This forum has helped me soooo much already for my trip in december. I love it.

The prices dont sound too bad then and there is plenty of places.

Sarah Sarill, thanks for all the recommendations. I thought I knew my way around the abbreviations, but what are TLN and CM? I suppose CM means two different things in your post?

TLN is The Lucky Nugget and CM is Cafe Mickey.

CM can also mean castmember or character meal. It took me ages to get the hang of all these abbreviations!!! :rotfl:

Thanks!! I was only remembering CM as Cast Member and this did not make any sense at all!!!
