I'm not sure if this is the correct board to post this question to, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend places to eat in Vero Beach. We are staying at Disney's Vero Beach for two nights in April. We are not familiar with the area at all. Thank you! :)

On our visit to VB last year (not at the Disney resort), we ate at the Undertow Cafe because of a recommendation here on the DIS. We loved the place.

Undertow is a local hangout with excellent food and a live band (Jimmy Buffet, some 60-70's stuff, and some Reggae). It's in downtown VB, which is a drive from Disney's VB resort. Very casual and laid back, but the food is VERY good. Reasonably priced and with a big menu where everyone can find something they like.

Menu looks awesome! Thank you!:thumbsup2

We loved the Undertow cafe but our ultimate favorite stop at Vero would have to be squid lips. It is an outside eatery right on the water with great food. The kids love it so much we drive down from the World just to eat there at least one night when we are in Orlando.............

This place is nothing fancy and not on the water but the food is good. My mother-in-law lives in Vero Beach during the winter and they eat here all the time.

This is another place they like.

There is another restaurant right by Mr. Manatees that I like but can't think of the name.

The Lobster Shanty is close to Mr. Manatee's; our family likes it as well.

Looks like there are lots of great options! Thanks again!:)

Mr. Manatee's was great for the kids. The one at the end of that cul de sac was too fancy for us.

We also LOVE Captain Hiram's. That's our family's "go to" restaurant in VB.

I need to start a list! I'm thrilled to have so many choices!:lovestruc
