Places to ear near buffalo airport

Our flight this April leaves buffalo around 5:30 pm. Since its a weekend (could mean delays at the bridge), we decided to be safe and plan to cross the boarder around 1 pm. We were then thinking of having a late lunch somewhere before heading to the airport. I figured this would also help with the fact that we are flying when we would normally eat dinner. Are there any good places to eat close to the airport. Somewhere for a leisurely meal, not fast food. Chains are ok. Thanks.

The Walden Galleria mall is close. They have a lot of restaurants in the mall such as Jack Astors, Cheesecake Factory, Bravo, Charlie's Steakery, PF Changs, etc. if you google Walden Galleria you will find a list of all the restaurants under their directory. The Galleria is about a 10 min drive to the airport. There is also an Olive Garden across from the Galleria and a few other restaurants in that complex. We live in Canada but fly out of Buffalo as it is much cheaper. We usually stay overnight before we fly too.

If you go two exits past the Galleria Mall and through the 15 cent toll on the I90 to Albany, take the first exit 49 to Transit Rd, turn left, and then there is a Cracker Barrel on the right just past the overpass - we love it there! Further up the road on the right is the Eastern Hills Mall which is not quite as busy as the Galleria, and then a Walmart SuperCenter past that, plus Target and many other stores. If you don't have time to shop, just enjoy dinner at Cracker Barrel, browsing in their General Store, and when you exit, go left and the airport is just two minutes up the road.
