It has been many, many years since I have been to WDW --
Looking for suggestions on table service & quick service in the parks that maybe have somewhat less noisy than others.
Background noise, etc. Sometimes its just the design/architecture of a place that makes it loud & not necessarily the number of people.

For example, at Epcot I have heard Akershus can be loud and Garden Grill is quieter.

Also, have heard that Tusker House has a smaller room that is quieter than the main dining room as that we could potentially ask to be seated there.

For MK, I have heard that the 2nd floor of Columbia Harbor House is a nice escape or also a picnic lunch on Tom Sawyer Island? Anyplace in particular on the island?

thanks in advance

The west wing Room, the one with falling rose petals, at bog. But any other room there is crazt loud.

If you do Magic Kingdom, upstairs at QS Pinocchio Haus there is a tiny balcony, at off times it's awesome up there. Second the west wing at BOG, we ate there and it was great. I found Liberty Tree Tavern to not be very loud, we ate lunch there and timed it right with the parade.

At MK the 2d floor of Columbia Harbor House and Pinocchio Village Haus balcony. At Epcot perhaps Liberty Inn and as someone previously mentioned Tutto Gusto has always been laid back when we've gone. Marrakesh because it doesn't get as much business is an option. Restaurantosaurus at Animal Kingdom (but haven't been since Pandora opened).

Magic Kingdom - upstairs at Columbia Harbor House; West Wing in BoG comes with occasional thunder.
Hollywood Studios - Sci-Fi Dine-In is very quiet (you're at the movies).
Animal Kingdom - Nomad Lounge inside Tiffins (or just Tiffins).
Epcot - Spice Table is never crowded (but avoid Morocco because it is noisy).

Spice Road Table, MP, and the HBD Lounge are all really subdued as I too really like relaxing/quiet environments. Heading to a resort from the MK that's on the monorail isn't too time consuming - Kona (for lunch) or the Wave. If you want to stroll - the Cabana bar at the Swolphin is by their pool but the food is great and the vibe is super loungy - cool couches, etc. Very relaxing. Grabbing QS at France or the UK and strolling over to the gardens to enjoy it would work

AK- Nomad Lounge is nice and quiet outside or Flame Tree BBQ.
MK-Pecos Bill can be quiet and I've heard Plaza or Tony's for TS, but not sure
EP- Love Tutto Gusto! Spice Roads patio is nice too.
HS- We don't eat here much since not fond of the food. We did like Brown Derby Lounge though.

I would suggest the Disney Food blog website for reviews of restaurants and recommendations too.
I also agree with amberpi to check out resort dining. We love the monorail resorts instead of eating at MK.

In addition to the upstairs at Columbia Harbor House and the balcony at PVH, over at AK, in Pizzafari, sometimes the furthest back room isn't bad. I find that the time you eat makes a big difference. That's one reason I avoid prime meal time at restaurants. Also, several TS, most noticeably to me Coral Reef seem way quieter at lunchtime than dinnertime.

If you're looking for quiet ("Disney Quiet" anyway)....
We like Spice Road (or Restaurant Marrakesh) in Epcot.
CHH (2nd floor) at MK or usually a monorail ride over to one of the resorts
For HS we head over to the Boardwalk & eat at Big River Grill (sit outside, it's very laid back)
Can't speak for AK as we leave by lunch.
(By the way, it's just DH & I, no kids).
Enjoy!
