Placemat Exchange...Sent/Recieved

I ordered online - they say it shipped on the 8th - I sent an email to have it tracked.

Just heard from where I ordered my exchange - they are sending a replacement on Monday via Priority Mail.

Did they say what happened to the original?

The original was sent via regular mail on the 7th - may show up - may not

At least they are replacing - and shipping Priority.

They shipped it Parcel Post

It could take another week to get here. My Dh shipped my Yankee Candle exchange that way and it 15 days to reach Nancy. I was not a happy camper thinking the Post office lost it. Cause i know my DH is very reliable. he decided to try it cause it was cheaper, but it was only supposed to take 7 days. We both agreed we aint shipping that way again LOL.

Thanx Leslie for checking on it. I'm sure 1 of the packages will show up next week.

I loved organizing this exchange Nancy. I think that it was so sall was perfect seeing it was my first time. I think I will do this 1 again next year, but broaden it a bit to include more household items. We'll see. And if lent comes around and i haven't done it, somebody pop this up to remind me LOL.

Now if i could only get a Build-A-Bear near here

I am seriously thinking about a Build-aBear outfit exchange later in the summer.
I keep telling you.....you can order them online
I ordered my last batch of clothes online....including that cute hula outfit

is from! LOL) that contained a WONDERFUL set of cheerful
turqouise/royal blue floral placemats from Ellen! (Ellenec)

What fun! I can change the look of my table 2 times!! I received 4 sailboat themed placemats(very cute), AND 4 CHESAPEKE Bay placemats, that have sailing rules, flags, and knots, on one side, and beautiful pictures on the other!!

Arly: I'm so glad you like the placemats. The Chesapeake Bay placemats i got right on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel(no that's not a typo). They're what gave me the idea for this exchange. But since it costs $10.00 to go across, I couldn't just hit their gift shop and turn around and come home. So i had to wait till Easter when i knew i'd be travelling the bridge tunnel to see my family. And i found the sailboats in a little shop while visiting my parents.


Leslie: Hopefully, i'll actually get something by weds. I'll let you know. It would be fun to get 2 packages. I'm sure 1 of them will turn up this week. and yes, anything that keeps the thread bumped is fine by me.
