I am headed on my first cruise in November. :cool1: I was able to use the military discount that was offered to book the cruise. I know if you book a placeholder cruise while you are on board it is 10% off a future cruise and then some onboard credit. Can you use this with any other discounts like Military or Florida resident? Thanks!

I'm not sure about Florida rates, but I know for certain that you can't use the OBB discount with military or *GT discounts.

For military - it must be a brand new booking. For some cruises, FLR rate can be done to an existing reservation. The special rates will specify if you can use on an existing reservation.

Thanks for the information. I am trying to decide if I want to put the $200 down for the OBB offer, but if I can't use that with military, I don't know that I will. I will think about it. Thanks again!

I would suggest that you go ahead and do the onboard booking. If a military rate comes available, you can use it. A placeholder booking isn't for a specified cruise until you assign it, and you can cancel the placeholder with no penalties. But you would have it in place, if the military rates aren't offered, and would get the OBB perks.
