I am organizing a bus trip from Bloomington, IL to Nashville. I'm trying to find a good place to stop for dinner. We want fast food, with MCDonalds and 1 or 2 other choices at the same exit. (There will be a lot of grade school aged children on the bus and McDonalds is their preference). We are taking I-57 south to I-24 and we'd like to stop in the vicinity of Marion. Mt Vernon looks good but I'd like to go farther before we stop.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I thought I found a website before that listed restaurants at the exits on interstates, but I can't find it now.

I live near the Marion exit, (well, 20 miles away) it has many choices--unfortunately all of the fast food places are not together--they're a couple blocks down from each other, so somewhat spread out. Not too far away from each other, but I don't want you to think they are within walking distance with kids--you couldn't park the bus once and go to all of them.

Hmm, off the top of my head, the ones closest to McDonalds are: Steak and Shake, Sonic, Burger King, Taco Bell...

There is a Wendy's and an Arbys about 2 blocks to the East, (the interstate is in between--go W to the McD area, and East to the other places) along with a KFC and a Long John Silvers. There are more fast food places there, but they are even further down the block (Hardees, Taco Johns, Little Caesars)

If you don't stop at this exit, there won't be anything else worth stopping for (fast food wise) until you get to Paducah Kentucky which is another 30-45 minutes away.
