We are staying at YC in early Dec. Our flight arrives at MCO at 5:05pm, so probably won't get to YC till about 6-6:30pm. Where can we get a decent dinner there? Would rather not use a TS credit. Is there a casual, "food court" type place there?

Thanks!

The Beach Club has a small counter service inside its gift shop. Also, the Boardwalk Bakery has sandwichs.

Having stayed at the YC many times I suggest walking to Epcot and getting CS or going to Beaches and Cream for a quick bite. The food at the BC gift shop isnt that fantastic.

either walk to bc and go to beaches and cream, or walk to boardwalk to take out window for pizza.

Thanks everyone. I thought Beaches N Cream was just an ice cream shop...am I wrong?

What about Captains Grille at YC? I realize it's TS, but I might not have a choice. I know the family will be ready for a good dinner after a day of travel. Also...Big River Grille & Brewing Works on the Boardwalk...how is it, and how far of a walk is it from YC?

Thanks!

I love Captain's Grille, but if you choose that for when you land, I would make a reservation. Just from past experiences, they are not great with walk ups.. Now, you can either make it before you come, I would suggest that, or walk to customer service in the Yacht Club and check their availability....sometimes they have reservations 5 min from the time you walk up, but if you walk up to the podium, they will tell you you have an hour wait..

I know this by experience... the food is good, service is good..

Beaches n Cream has burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. It's a TS credit but it's pretty cheap.

I thought Beaches N Cream was counter service? Is it really table service???

Thanks for letting me know they have more than just ice cream...the menu on allears just lists ice cream stuff. :-)

I asked this just the other day too as our flight arrives late, I dont think we will get to the resort until 9pm, most people suggested either Beaches and Cream or head on over to the Boardwalk to ESPN for Nachos, wings, sandwiches and burgers :thumbsup2

It is a table service. It does not take adrs and since it is a tiny place, very often has waits for a table
