Place near DL to get a good Ice Cream Cake??

My wife has requested an ice cream cake for her B-Day while we are at DL and I was wondering where close by to get her one. She doesn't want the kind with the bottom cake and the top ice cream, she wants all ice cream.

They sell store brand (which are very good) and carvel ice cream cakes at Albertsons. There are two close to the resort. I think this is the closest.

If you go with the Albertson's brand, try the Mud Slide ice cream cake...yum! They also have cookies and cream. Carvel is great as well...all ice cream with those yummy chocolate crunchies inside.

There is a Cold Stone Creamery at Chapman and Brookhurst (southwest of DL) and a Baskin Robbins on Katella (west of DL). Not sure about the cake issue.

Great suggestions, except both of those locations have actual cake in the ice cream cake.
