Hi
bought a place holder while onboard last week
if I book a cruise let’s say in 9 months but for any reason ( work ..who knows covid
can I cancel and get back my money ?

If the placeholder goes completely unused for 24 months, I believe it automatically cancels and refunds the $250 deposit.

Once the placeholder becomes a real cruise date, the final PIF will drive the penalty phase. As long as you aren't within the penalty phase you can receive a full refund of any monies paid to that point.

Also note that if you book a cruise with the placeholder you can "change" to another cruise within the 24mths of the placeholder, and keep the benefits of the placeholder. If you cancel the cruise, the placeholder will be refunded and you lose the benefits.
