Pkwebmaster lost his badge!

I'm still listed as CL_Pkwebmaster in vmk, but if you ever notice my profile my CL badge is missing!

Normally I wouldn't care about such things as I hardly go on VMK. But take away my CL Badge and you'll have to deal with me! I do hope that I haven't been fired though..

So your a CL who hardly ever goes on VMK... Maybe you should think about retiring and letting some other player fill your spot....

Maybe your badge disappeared because if you don't go on VMK much you aren't there to do the job of a CL, and staff could be looking at making someone else who is on more to do the job into a Cl instead. Or it could be a mistake. Somehow the idea of you being mad at loosing a sign that you are privilaged enough to be a CL when you just admitted that you aren't on VMK much to do the work that comes with the privilage of having the badge sounds odd. I know I'd be mad if my Day One badge disappeared, but I got that from being on VMK during Beta Testing, not as a sign that I had agreed to help players that need help. My only suggestion is to report the missing badge to staff and see what happens.

Ok. Since you hardly go on VMK anymore, chances are you lost your CL
status. I've seen it happen to CL's I know who have been away for
about a month or maybe more.

VMK wants their CL's to play regularly. No, it doesn't have to be every day,
but if you were able to log on once a week, you'd be more likely to keep your
CL status.

At first I was thinking that it could have been some kind of odd warning from staff, like a Do your job as a CL or lose CL status entirely, but now I'm wondering if it was more of an error. Are you the only one who can't see your badge, or can nobody see it? If it's just you, it might be some kind of warning to you. But if it's everyone can't see it, maybe you it is a bug because you have the CL in front of your title, but not the badge that everyone knows to look for when a player claims to be staff or a CL. Seems almost like you could be reported whenever someone sees the CL_ without the badge, ans would think you were trying to impersonate a CL.

No-one can see it; in fact I was alerted to it by another player.

As for quitting being a leader, It hadn't come across me. If there is a massive demand for being a leader and not enough places available, I'd gladly go.

I don't know about places available, but I do know that a lot of people at least think being a CL would be nice. I thought that, but now I've considered how much work is involved I'm not sure if I really want it or not. I continue to apply because I know I could probably be a very good CL, but I'm not sure if I would want to keep having to do all the work forever. At some point I'd probably retire or use another character so I could play and not have to always answer questions and such.
