PJ's/walking your child into school

Nope, but I've seen several moms in knit PJ sets (more like lounge-wear) at DD's school. In the winter I usually sleep in those flannel pants and a long-sleeved henley-style shirt and I have walked out to get the paper like that, but never actually gone somewhere. I actually look both ways before I run out the door!

No way, the most I have seen, which doesn't bother me, is parents in their pj's or robe standing outside with the kids waiting for the bus or the parents whose house is right by the school standing in their driveway watching the kids walk to the school.

I always throw on yoga pants and t shirts. I wonder if people think I'm in my jammies?

I voted no, but I admit to having thrown on a pair of sweats over the top of my pj's once or twice in the last 7 years to drive them to school - on days I was sick and planning on going back to bed. I wouldn't get out of the car though. It's bad enough that my kids would die of embarrassment, I work at the school part time!

If you are just dropping of your child and staying in the car with your coat covering it up, it's not too bad. But to wear PJ's in to your child's school, that is just the epitome of laziness!

If I tried doing that, I can guarantee you that I'd get a flat tire and have to get out of the car!

That's what I'd be worried about. I ran out of gas once and was bare footed! I now take shoes with me, just in case. You never know!

As for PJ's: I haven't seen any parents at our school in them, but I see people in public all the time in them. I would never. I just wouldnt feel right.

Ummm....I sleep, how should we say..."sans PJ's" so this would mortify the entire neighborhood

I never did but then we had a "drop off" for the kids and I could sit securely in my car without being discovered wearing my "jammies"
