PJ Pals- how do they run?

I need to know what size to order for my son, do they run big, small or right on track? Also, do they shrink a lot, a little, or not at all? Some pj's I've bought have shrunk more than two sizes! Thanks!

I haven't bought them for a few years but when I did they ran a size small. I would buy at least a size bigger than your child normally wears.

Every time I have bought them I purchase them a size larger. They are non-flame retardent so are supposed to fit "snug" but if I ordered the "right" size, the poor kids would look like stuffed sausages My soon to be 6 year old son gets the size 8's and will get a whole season out of them.

Thanks, I was thinking I should order bigger but I know that the rest of The Disney Store's clothes run big, so I wasn't sure.

Do they shrink at all? I've ordered bigger for my oldest but my youngest won't quite be 2 when it's time to wear them, so I don't think I want to order a size 4 for him...

I know what you mean. I bought t-shirts for my boys, and the size 2/3 for DS2 would probably fit DS6 just fine! It hangs down to DS2's knees.

When I worked at the Disney Store they run "snug" because of the flame resistant but they are 100% cotton I believe so yes the shrink a little. I can't remember if they were pre shrunk or not. I do remember people bringing them back for being too tight

I've always had to go up a size with these so there's another vote for "go bigger!".

These run really small. My DS5 usually wears a size 6 in regular clothes and I buy him the size 10 in PJ Pals. They do shrink a little, but not that noticeably. When my son was 2 I used to buy him the size 4. I usually buy him 2 sizes too big because the tops are not in proportion to the pants and end up being too short after awhile. These are usually the only pjs he wears because he love all the characters and they are so cheap!
