PJ being read by Guests??? Ever happened? 6 month mark- what next?

I am about to start a PJ but am nervous that guest may read about things that I am planning!

From the possibility of Mickey and Minnie coming to a the wedding to everything I'd like to keep a secret?!?!!

Has anyone experienced guests or anyone you know coming across your PJ???

Disney just got back to me about a possible August 2012 date and Im in freak out mode about every detail that needs to be done for deadlines!
(I was going to wait until 2013 for $ reasons but parents seemingly want to help!)

We were headed to Disney in March for my 30th Bday but now are looking to turn that into a planning session
...meanwhile i don't know where the reception will be!!!
its a little funny how quickly everything became THINGS TO DOs! [now]

LMK if you have any advice! I have read the Passporter's guide several times and comb these boards a LOT!

Yes! I had a problem with guests reading my PJ. My suggestion, don't use your or your DF's name in it so it is less likely to be discovered on a search for the two of you. Mine was confused with my wedding website at first. I also ended up putting a note on the top asking guests not to read it, but of course they still did.

Congrats on the new date!! Everything will get done, so don't stress about it. Just enjoy the experience!

Nichole - good idea on NOT using DF's name... My guest list is only about 30 [pretty much immediate family only] but I am concerned about others reading, changing their minds, and saying they want to come based on the plans being made... My mother and I have already asked extended family members about whether or not they would want to take the trip for the wedding and based on feedback we have decided to only include us. My side is 18-22 and DF has 7-18!

virtuous girl - I do not think that people will look for it. just possibly stumble across it if they searched disney wedding.... My family has always had me plan mostly everything for the family magical gatherings for the 18 of us when we travel to disney... and this is his family's first trip so they don't know details and are trusting me... So I promise to start the PJ later today but thanks for answering more questions girls! Don't know where i'd be without the community here

I didn't think my guests would care enough to try to find it, but some of them did and had one of our surprises spoiled (even though I thought I was safe by writing it in white text with "Spoiler Alert" in front ). There are several private message boards devoted to Disney weddings that you could post on if you don't feel comfortable posting publicly. But it's always nice when people share here too!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Anything on the boards is public domain. So planning journals. trip reports, questions about morning ceremonies, all out in the open!

Of course, not everyone knows about the Disboards. Maybe your friends don't realize they are here.

If you are concerned just be vague. Don't give names, too many identifying details and instead of giving an exact wedding date just give a month. That will make it harder to search for you.
