I was thinking of trying Pizzafari restaurant this trip - is this a good place to eat? Also does anyone know what is on the hot italian sandwich? It look good Thanks is advance

I will never again eat disney pizza. Not sure what the other selections are like but the pizza was awful. I much prefer FLame Tree BBQ at AK for a QS

DD14, our staunch vegetarian, loved the pizza, but then again, it was her only choice because she refused to eat anything at FTB...

We ate here on our last trip and I thought the pizza was average; but you do get a nice little salad with your individual pizza meal. We appreciated the fact that there was plenty of indoor seating in the a/c

I liked the sandwich a lot when we were there. The Pizza is edible, but its not going to win any contests.

I haven't tried the sandwich there...yet! I usually go for chicken fried rice or pulled pork. But if it is anything like the one at Catalina Eddies in the Studios it will be fantastic. PPs description sounds like it will be pretty close. The bread at CE is like a baguette. Otherwise they sound just alike!

The Hot Italian Sandwich is mine and my DW favorite sandwich of any counter service restaurant in all of WDW. The kids really like the pizza but like said before "it ain't gonna win no prizes in a pizza cook off." It's edible but that's about it. Have also tried Flame Tree many times and found all the BBQ to be just okay so we keep going back to Pizzafari whenever at DAK.

I've had the sandwich there on our last trip and enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised by the desserts as well. We went between lunch and dinner time and sat in the back dinning room and it was basically empty which was very nice.

I don't know why but I feel like they have the best disney pizza on property. Every trip when I ask my 18 year old brother where he wants to eat he always demands pizzafari.

We were looking for fast, cheap and something close to the next attraction when we went to Pizzafari. We weren't expecting good. We skipped the pizza since it looked like the same disappointing crap at Pizza Planet. We were impressed with the sandwich. Quite good.
